Overview

X3D is a standard for the storage and display of 3D virtual enviornments. It is the successor to VRML, but expands on VRML in many ways.

Our program will only include a subset of the X3D standard, at least at first. I (Carl) am currently engaging in research and will soon start incorporating an X3D parser into our program.
